A GoFundMe page that was set up in the aftermath of a serious house fire in Co Monaghan has raised over €15,000.
Friends of the Sweeney family set up the fundraiser in recent days to allow locals to assist the popular family.
Ann and Gerry lost their family home located at Sweeney's cross, due to a devastating fire on April 26th last. The go fund me page is to help ease some of the financial burden that they have in front of them, after they lost everything in the house fire and any donation no matter how small will help.
