A fundraiser has been set up to support the family of a Co Cavan man who died in Perth last week.
Jamie Colbourne from Lisreagh collapsed suddenly while out jogging in Perth last Wednesday.
The family of the 26-year-old say they are "beyond heartbroken" by this tragedy. His family went on to describe Jamie as an "extraordinary young man" who was "ambitious, passionate, funny, weird, tremendous, wonderful, beautiful, hilarious, amazing, fun, and bold."
While his family embark on making the journey to Australia to bring his body back home, a Go Fund Me page has been set up to support this process.
In a statement posted online, Jamie’s sister Donna said the family are planning to fly to Perth to bring Jamie home, with the generous help of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT).
The Colbourne family are asking locals to give whatever they can to help with this process so that they can in turn help the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust to continue their amazing work, and to help the next family who receives such life changing news.
