Research by ESRI revealed that from 720 post-primary schools surveyed, more than 3 in 10 mandated the purchase of digital devices.
According to the Barnardos Back to School 2025 survey, the average cost of digital devices for second level schools has reached 430 euro, up from 121 euro in 2022.
