Green light for extension to Castleblayney College

Castleblayney College on the Dublin Road in the town is set to benefit from important improvements under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.

The project will deliver an extension and refurbishment, including a new 3-class SEN Base, repurposing of existing SEN accommodation.

There is also enhanced learning and support spaces for students with additional educational needs.

Minister Niamh Smyth confirmed the news this evening.

She said the investment will help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for students and staff, ensuring the school can continue to meet the needs of its growing community.
