A planning application for the Slane bypass in Co Meath has been approved.
An Coimisiun Pleanala has given the green light for a 3.5km bypass around the village.
A similar proposal was rejected 13 years ago. But Green TD Roderic O’Gorman says sometimes a bypass is the only solution.
