The Health Minister says the public disorder on Dublin streets last night was "thuggish" and "completely unacceptable".

It follows another night where large crowds of young people gathered to socialise in the South William Street, Stephen's Green and Temple Bar areas.

14 people were arrested and one officer was hospitalised with a leg injury while a patrol car was also damaged.

Glass bottles were among the missiles thrown at Gardaí.
