'There are three pieces of vital information that we know can find her but we don't have them'

The appeal to find a missing Cavan woman in Portugal has been renewed this week.

The sister of the woman who has been missing in Portugal for over two years, says she 'fears the worst' about her sibling.

Jean Tighe disappeared while staying in a hostel near Lisbon in July 2020 - and there's been no trace of the 41-year-old since then.

Her sister, Leona, is calling for the Gardai and the Justice Minister to get involved in the case.

She says there have been problems with the investigation by Portuguese police.

"The heartbreak here is that my sister is missing and if you had a sister missing you would be heartbroken too. You would be trying your level best to do everything you can," continued Leona.
