The funeral has taken place of Co Monaghan music legend Henry McMahon.
Henry was an integral part of the country music scene for up on six decades and became known to thousands of music followers as the band leader and announcer with Big Tom and The Mainliners.
He was a renowned musician, songwriter, band leader, promoter and music manager.
Speaking to those in attendance in St Mary's Church, Castleblayney, Fr Stephen Duffy described the late Henry McMahon as a "family man" who was grounded in his family roots and the people around him.
Fr Stephen Duffy referenced his career in music, particularly his role as a founding member of the Mainliners along with the legendary Big Tom.
Fr Duffy said the talented duo brought a magic beat wherever they went and said Henry was a person who liked to talk to people, listen to stories and connect to people's lives.
Fr Duffy described him as a "poet" whose words were expressed through song, adding that he was a man of faith, family, friends and music.
