Smith Property based in Co Cavan say they recorded another outstanding result at their recent online auction, where three properties sold well above their advised minimum values.
Among the highlights, a former schoolhouse at Knocknagilla, Ballyjamesduff, guided at €50,000, sold for €102,500, A two-bedroom cottage in Tullylorcan, Canningstown, guided at €80,000, sold for €107,500 and The standout of the day, No. 54 Main Street, Cavan Town (Auburn House), guided at €135,000, sold for €225,000.
In total, 19 active bidders took part across the lots, reflecting a strong appetite for both residential and commercial property. Two additional properties were withdrawn ahead of the auction due to contract preparation.
Raymond Smith, Managing Director of Smith Property says these results clearly highlight the demand and confidence among buyers, he said online auction offers transparency, competitive bidding, and rapid completion - with most vendors receiving proceeds within a month."
Smith Property will hold their final online auction of 2025 on Wednesday, 4 December, with entry closing on 7 November. Raymond says there is a lot of demand for properties in the area from people on a local, national and international level.
