HSE chief says unvaccinated people having a 'disproportionate impact' on health service

There are 370,000 adults who are not fully vaccinated.

The HSE's chief operations officer says unvaccinated people are having a 'disproportionate impact' on the health service.

The number of Covid patients being admitted to hospital has increased by 43 percent in the past two weeks.

It has risen from an average of 35 a day at the end of September, to 50 at the moment.

408 people are in hospital with the virus, with 70 in intensive care.
