IDA spent over €15,000 on Cavan office rents despite not holding in-person site visits

The IDA spent €15,452 on office rents in Cavan last year, despite not holding any in-person site visits.

Last year, the IDA hosted two virtual, "E- Site visits" in Cavan with potential foreign direct investors

Tanáiste Leo Varadkar says the agency "migrated many of its business development and client engagement activities to digital platforms" due to the pandemic.

IDA spent the same amount on office rents in Cavan in 2019, but hosted seven "in-person" site visits.
