Inland Fisheries Ireland says it has a number of development projects in the
local region that it's hoping to progress this year.
It's appealed for people to apply for positions as development officers with
the organisation to progress the plans.
It says it has a number of projects developing across Cavan and Monaghan, as
well as existing infrastructure in need of repair.

It's also hoping to hire a number of fisheries protection officers across
the Northern Sound region ahead of the summer season to patrol local
waterways.
