Investigation launched into vehicle fire in Carrickmacross

An investigation is under way following a fire close to a residential property in Co Monaghan.

Gardai and fire services attended the incident near Carrickmacross on Friday.

Local Gardai say they are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of a vehicle fire adjacent to a house on the evening of Friday last. Investigations are ongoing.
