Investigation underway following sheep theft in Cavan

An investigation is underway following the theft of sheep in Cavan.

Gardai in Bailieborough are currently investigating the theft of 21 sheep which were taken from a farm in the townland of Farthadreen.

The incident occurred between Sunday 9th and Tuesday 11th August.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious during that period in the area or who can assist in any way please to contact the Bailieborough Garda Station on 042 9694570.
