A preliminary enquiry into the case against Jeffrey Donaldson is set to be heard today. The former DUP leader is accused of historical sex offences. He is set to be appear alongside with his wife Eleanor who is a co-accused in the case. Mr Donaldson stood down as head of the DUP when he was charged earlier this year. In a letter to his party colleagues he said he would strenuously contest the charges against him.
