The Ashling Murphy murder trial continues before the Central Criminal Court this morning. 33-year-old Jozef Puska, of Lynally Grove, Mucklagh, Co Offaly, denies murdering the schoolteacher on January 12th 2022.
Yesterday the jury heard different testimonies from witness who recalled their events on the afternoon of Ashling Murphy’s alleged murder. There was also evidence in relation to a man spotted near Tullamore that night, as well as paramedics who responded to a call at an apartment block on the Armagh Road in Crumlin.
There it was claimed Jozef Puska was hunched over a bedside lock in pain, after suffering three apparent stab wounds. More witnesses are expected to be called when the trial resumes later this morning.
