Learners waiting over 3 months for driving test locally

Learner drivers in Co. Cavan are waiting 14 weeks on average for a driving test.

That's according to figures released to The Irish Times this morning.

As of the 12th of June, Cavan drivers had a wait of over three months for a test.

The figures also revealed that there were 112 'no shows' for tests in Cavan last year.

Drivers in Co. Monaghan are also waiting 14 weeks for a test.

However, last year there were only 44 'no shows' in the county.
