They are hopeful of a steady influx of business due to the backlog of weddings.

Local business owner hopes it's '3rd time lucky' as non-essential retail re-opens today.

While many retailers locally were open last week by appointment only and for click and collect, today was the first time in five months they could open their doors to everyone.

Patrick Boyle the managing director of Boyle for Men in Cavan says that this lockdown was particularly tough for staff and despite regularly checking in it was good to have their team back in the shops again.

The shop predominately deals with clothing for weddings and special occasions and Patrick says based on their bookings last week he is hopeful that the next few weeks will see a steady flow of business:
