Local call for Justice Minister to meet with Lynch family

A Cavan Senator has called on the Minister for Justice to meet with the family of Kelly Lynch.

Sarah O'Reilly, spoke in the Dail this week, describing the serious concerns surrounding the death of the 23-year-old.

The body of Kelly Lynch was discovered in the Ulster Canal on March 17th 2024.

There were 93 separate injuries on her body but the tragedy was initially treated as suicide and then as the result of an accidental fall.

Sarah O'Reilly noted her belief that the handling of the case is troubling.
