The Carer's Support Grant of €2,000 will be issued to 4,283 full-time carers in Cavan and Monaghan.
The payment will be paid out to 2,491 people in Cavan and 1,792 in Monaghan.
147,000 carers nationwide is set to be paid their annual Carer's Support Grant today which is not means tested.

It's automatically paid to those who receive the Carer's Allowance, Carer's Benefit, or Domiciliary Care Allowance, and is also available to other full-time carers who do not receive these payments.
