Cavan's Civil Defence Officer says he hopes people will consider volunteering with the group.
Civil Defence groups across the country have been instrumental in each county's response to the Covid-19 pandemic and that work is continuing.
They have been delivering food packages and medicines, as well as driving people to Covid test centres for appointments.

Speaking on The Wider View today, Civil Defence Officer in Cavan John Maguire said he hopes the work of the groups will be recognised once the pandemic passes.
And he said he hopes people will consider volunteering too:
