Gardai are appealing for information after two men were found dead in County Monaghan. The first was found dead at a home in the Broomfield area early this morning.
A second man was pronounced dead after he was struck by a car on the N53 Dundalk Road. Local Councillor Aidan Campbell says it's devastating news for the area. "My sympathies go out to the families involved - two people have died and there are families involved - and someone is suffering the loss of two people.
"If anyone knows anything then come to the Guards in Carrickmacross or Castleblayney," he added.
