A Monaghan GP is reminding people with any Covid-19 symptoms to book a PCR test, no matter how long it takes to get a slot.
The booking system has been experiencing delays over the Christmas period.
HSE test and trace lead Damien McCallion yesterday said it's almost impossible to keep up with the demand for testing due to the high level of infection in the community.
