Local Gardai are reminding pedestrians to be lit up when walking this winter.
They're advising people to ensure they wear hi-viz clothing and have appropriate lighting if going for a walk, run or cycle.
Motorists are also being asked to be more careful during winter because of the low sun and a darker evening.
