Local lads to represent the region at Macra's Mr Personality Festival

Niall Clerkin will represent Cavan at the 19th Annual l.

This year's festival will take place at the Langton's Hotel in Kilkenny during the 10th and 12th of April.

27 year old Niall is an active member of Maudabawn Macra.

Speaking to Northern Sound ahead of the event, Niall says he is "looking forward" to the event and it's a first for the local man.

Niall says a party piece is required for the event but he is still to work that one out.

While the Monaghan representative is 26 year old Mark Sherry from Scotstown Macra.

The manufacturing engineer won the North West best new member 2025 at the Macra Rally and is hoping for further success this weekend.
