A local priest says it’s great to see familiar faces returning to the church for worship.
Father Stephen Duffy, of Muckno Parish in Castleblayney, says it was lonely to deliver mass in an empty Church via webcam and that he is delighted to welcome back parishioners.
Under new guidance, more than 50 people can attend mass so long as social distancing measures are in place.
The measures include separating worshippers into clearly marked zones that are four metres apart.
