Olivia Larkin is arguing that voters deserve greater choice of candidates, with her party leading the charge to get Steen on the on the ballot
She criticised Fianna Fáil's and Fine Gael's approach to the election, calling it wishy-washy.
Larkin argued the current nomination system is not working for independent candidates and she belives it's not an even playing field for them.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Olivia said Aontú says it will pull every lever to try to get Steen a place on the ballot.
