A local Senator says he's disappointed that the deadline for the Restart Grant was changed without notice.
The first tranche of funding was to end at the end of August, but it was brought forward to July 23rd, meaning many lost out.
The Restart Plus grant, which is the second round of funding, opened for applications with both new businesses and those in receipt of the original support eligible.

Both grants give businesses funding to help them recover, with the value based on their rates reciept.
Senator Robbie Gallagher said local businesses are missing out because they could have been getting both supports.
