Local vaccine centres to open to walk-ins again in coming days

Local vaccination centres will be open for walk-ins again over the coming days.

The centre in the Glencarn Hotel in Castleblayney will be open tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday.

It will be open from 8.30am to 7.30pm tomorrow and from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

It comes as a pop-up test centre is to be opening at St Joseph's Pastoral Centre in Monaghan town on Saturday and Sunday.

It comes amid an increase in covid cases in the county, with Monaghan having the second highest 14-day incidence rate.

Elsewhere in the Northern Sound region, the Hotel Kilmore in Cavan will open as a walk-in clinic for those needing a first dose of a vaccine between 1.30 and 5.30 pm on this coming Monday.
