Volunteers in the Northern Sound region have played a crucial role during the Covid-19 pandemic and will continue to do so in light of the recent tightening of restrictions.
That’s according to Vanessa Clarke, who is the Northern Region Development Officer for Munitir na Tíre.

She says local community groups have been a vital aid to elderly and vulnerable people, something Vanessa says will be even more important in light of governmental guidance that elderly and vulnerable people should limit their movements.
