A 42 year old man has been arrested by police investigating the attempted murder of Detective Inspector John Caldwell in County Tyrone.
He was shot several times at a sports complex in Omagh in February last year, and suffered 'life changing' injuries in the attack.
The PSNI say the suspect presented himself to Musgrave Police Station, where he remains in custody for questioning. The man was arrested under the Terrorism Act.
