A man has been arrested over the discovery of a quantity of cannabis in County Cavan.
As part of Operation Tara members of Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit searched a premises under warrant in the Cootehill area of Co. Cavan
The Divisional Drugs Unit were assisted by uniform and detective branch members from both Cootehill and Bailieboro Garda Stations.

During the course of the search a quantity of cannabis was discovered.
One man was arrested at the scene, detained and interviewed at Bailieboro Garda Station.
|He has been charged with drug related offences and is before the Courts.
