The man in his 30s arrested in connection with the seizure of approximately €382,000 of herbal cannabis on Monday in County Cavan has been charged.
He is expected to appear before a special sitting of Cavan District Court at 4pm this afternoon.
The man was detained on M onday under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at a Garda Station in the Cavan area. As part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized approximately 19.1kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €382,000 in Cavan.

This seizure made on Monday was as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Cavan Divisional Detective Unit
