A man in his 40s has died following a house fire in County Louth. Fire fighters and Gardaí attended an address in the Avenue Road area of Dundalk, after the alarm was raised around 6 o'clock yesterday evening.
The man's body remains at the scene which was preserved overnight. A technical examination to determine the cause of the blaze is due to take place later this morning.
