A man has been jailed for four months for drink driving after appearing at Cavan District Court this afternoon.
Romas Bitaris, of 5 Lakeview, Cavan, was also disqualified from driving for four years at today's sitting.
The incident occurred on the 16th of March, 2021, at Latt and he was also accused of driving erratically.

Mr Bitaris's solicitor asked Judge Raymond Finnegan to consider a suspended sentence.
However, this request was refused due to his previous convictions, which included two hit and run incidents dating back to 2011.
