A man has been remanded in custody following his appearance at Monaghan District court this morning.
He has been charged in connection with the seizure of 120 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of over 97,000 euros.
During proceedings no application was made for bail and Gardai indicated to the judge that they would oppose such an application because of the size of the seizure.

The man will appear via video link before Cavan district court tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, heaters, lights and extractor fans were also seized during Monday's Operation Tara - which targets street dealing in towns and cities.
