Monaghan County Council refused permission in July and the decision has been appealed to An Bord Pleanala.

A meeting is been held in the village this evening to highlight the continued opposition to plans for a mast in Glaslough.

It comes after Vodafone appealed Monaghan County Council's decision to refuse planning for a mast in the village.

The mobile operator was seeking permission to install an 18 metre high monopole mast at the Eir Exchange on Main Street.
