Men's Health Week is taking place all this week, with an overall aim of raising awareness of preventable health problems for men of all ages.
The international week is being celebrated locally across the week with Crocus Men's Den hosting several events in Monaghan.
Men's Health Week promotes holistic health and wellbeing for men and will include careers advice, heart health checks, information and advice on health and wellbeing, mental health resources, CV and training workshops and much more.
People are invited to go along and avail of a variety of free resources and information to support health and wellbeing available in the community across the country.
Martin Maguire from Crocus Men's Den says that Combilift are organising a wellbeing day for the 750 staff members and Crocus will be on hand on the day.
Martin says any opportunity to highlight men's health and he says there is lots of initiatives happening locally.
