The Minister for Heritage is in County Cavan this afternoon.
Minister of State Malcolm Noonan is visiting the region today, and touring a number of local heritage sites.
The Green Party representative is being accompanied by Fianna Fail TD Niamh Smyth, to highlight a number of the historical and tourist amenities.

Among the attractions Minister Noonan will visit is the Drumlane Abbey and Round Tower in Belturbet.
