Members of Monaghan County Council have agreed the sale of 2.2 acres on the Dundalk Rd in Castleblayney.
The sale that was agreed at the most recent meeting of the local authority will see the property being sold for €50,000 to the Cavan Monaghan Education Training Board.
The agreed sale of the grasslands are located to the rear of Castleblayney College and close to Lough Muckno in the town.

CMETB have said that they will pay Monaghan County Council’s legal fee in relation to this sale of lands.
