Mullan Tidy Towns & Community Development is seeking permission from Monaghan County Council to construct a new public walkway.
The application also includes the development of footpaths and landscaping, the installation of lighting, and all associated site works in Mullan Village, Emyvale.
A decision on the matter is expected soon.
