A Monaghan Councillor is calling for the government to allow the purchase of Part V homes.
During the construction boom, legislation was introduced that a certain number of houses in a private housing estate were to be made available for social housing waiting lists.
However, despite being told when moving in that a tenant purchase scheme would be in place, this has not been the case.
