A local councillor says he's looking forward to a "modern and up-to-date" Primary Care Centre in Monaghan Town.

Sinn Féin's Sean Conlon said the works are "long overdue" and added that the former Blackwater House building on the Saint Davnet's campus is an "ideal location" for the centre.
