A local councillor believes the renovation of the Market House is Castleblayney will be a huge benefit not just to the town but the county.
Cllr Paul Gibbons says it's great to see Monaghan County Council bringing this iconic building back to life.
He says it's will also be great for the town to tackle the issue of dereliction which he says is going in the right direction.
Cllr Gibbons says the town is unique with the likes of Lough Muckno and this building when it's up and running will be a huge economic driver for the town.
The Sinn Fein councillor says there is still a lot of work to do but it's going in the right direction.
