A Monaghan farming family have been announced as category winners at the Quality Milk Awards.
The Nicholsons from Drumacrib in Castleblayney were the category winners for Environmental Management at the recent NDC and Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards.
Nominated by Lakeland Dairies, the family had last June been named the Lakeland Supreme Champions and the greater than 500,000 litre category winner.

The Connelly family from Tuam in Galway were named as the overall winners of the competition.
