The country's 14 day incidence rate is 381.6 per 100 thousand people and Monaghan has the highest incident rate in the country with 783.6.
The Chief Medical Officer is appealing to vulnerable and older people not to leave their homes unless absolutely essential.

Dr Tony Holohan says the incidence of the virus is as high as the first wave of the outbreak - or even worse.
He says everyone needs to stay at home other than for essential work or care.
