Local journalist, Bronwyn O'Neill, told Northern Sound she is heading home to Monaghan for Christmas as soon as she finishes up work at VIP Magazine.
The digital editor at the glitzy magazine said while she is based in Dublin for work, Christmas wouldn't be the same anywhere else but Monaghan .When Bronwyn was a guest on the Joe Finnegan Show she was invited to give her rundown of the best TV programmes and films to watch over the holidays. Among her recommendations was the Irish film classic, "Into the West", and of course, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without some James Bond, she said. The centrepiece of Christmas Day, however, will be the 2021 movie "Belfast" which stars another local girl, actor Catriona Balfe from Tydavnet.
