Two garda cars had to take evasive action to avoid being rammed.

A Monaghan teenager has appeared in Court after being charged in connection with hit-and-runs in a stolen tractor.

19 year old Jake Mulhall, with an address in Mullaghmatt, Monaghan, appeared before Newry Magistrates Court this morning.

The appearance follows a series of hit-and-runs in south Armagh yesterday in a tractor stolen from County Monaghan.
