A Monaghan travel agent says he hopes to be back booking flights by next summer.

Share prices in airlines soared on the back of the recent positive announcement for a Covid-19 vaccine.

An EU Traffic Light system for international travel is also coming into effect at the end of the month, which means people won’t have to self-isolate if they test negative five days after landing in Ireland.

However, the Government is still asking that non-essential foreign travel be avoided.

Mark Clifford is the Managing Director of O’Hanrahan Travel in Monaghan town says he’d like to see trade return by mid-2021.
