A Monaghan woman has been appointed a new Director of Organised Support at the Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board.
Karen McBride was promoted to the position from within CMETB and replaces long-serving colleague, Berni Power, who retired from the role in February. Karen has been a part of the ETB since 2018, initially serving as the Head of Further Education and Training Finance before progressing to the role of Head of Corporate Services in 2022. Karen officially assumed her duties as Director of OSD at the beginning of March.
Speaking about her new appointment, Karen McBride said she is "delighted" to lead CMETB's admin team "who are instrumental in delivering exceptional service across Cavan and Monaghan."
